Subsidy of treatment by a psychologist or psychiatrist

​At Aleris PP you have the option to pay for treatment and assessment by a psychologist or psychiatrist. However, there are a number of options for subsidy, coverage, and reimbursement that you can read about below.

Group 2 in Public Health Insurance

You can get consultations with a psychiatrist covered, provided you enroll in insurance group 2 with the public health insurance. As a member of group 2, you are not assigned a specific doctor, and you do not need a referal to commence treatment at a specialized practitioner. You can therefore freely instigate treatment with either a general practitioner or a specialized practitioner such as a psychiatrist. Sessions with a psychologist are not covered via health insurance group 2.

Children under age 15 can also become a member of health insurance group 2, provided parental consent is given. If your child is in need of treatment, it is only your child - not you - who needs to switch insurance group.

Coverage of psychologist sessions via Sygeforsikringen "danmark"

​Aleris PP is certified by Sygeforsikringen "danmark" as a treatment facility. You can be reimbursed for therapy with an authorized psychologist at Aleris PP according to current regulations regardless of whether you are a member of group 1, 2, or 5. Remember to state your membership of Sygeforsikringen "danmark" when scheduling an appointment.

Coverage via your employer

Private and public workplaces have the option to cover treatment for their employees tax-free. An increasing number of employers choose to use this option.

Coverage via insurance

Aleris PP works with several insurance and pension companies. If you have a health insurance, you can often get treatment by psychologists or psychiatrists at Aleris PP partially or fully covered or reimbursed.
